Chesapeake Glazing is proud to announce that we have been awarded the glazing package for the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work project, delivered in partnership with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.
Designed as a zero-energy consumption building, the forward-thinking project incorporates solar panels, geothermal heating, and a high-efficiency façade built to support long-term energy performance.
Our Scope includes:
• Fully Unitized Curtainwall with Triple-glazed bird-friendly glazing and tapered metal panel infills
• Integrated aluminum perforated vertical fins and custom horizontal sunshades
• Custom horizontal and vertical Aluminum Plate “Eyebrow” panels
• A full range of high-performance glass, including laminated, fire-rated, and mid-iron
• Complete interior glazing systems, from decorative aluminum to STC rated demountable partitions to folding glass partitions
