Screen panels complete as ACM installation begins
Construction continues to move forward at SOMOS A and B in Virginia as the building begins to transition from structure to finished façade.
Our team recently completed the installation of the screen panels, an element that immediately adds depth and architectural character to the exterior. Screen panels are often used to introduce texture and dimension to a façade while helping define the visual identity of the building.
With those panels now in place, the next phase of work is underway: ACM panel installation.
ACM panels are often one of the final exterior elements to be installed, and they play an important role in bringing the façade together. Once these panels begin going in, the building quickly starts to look complete. The clean lines and finished surfaces help unify the exterior and give the structure the polished appearance intended in the design.
Working in collaboration with James G. Davis Construction (DAVIS), the transformation at SOMOS A and B is happening quickly as the building envelope and exterior features come together.
Next up for the project: mirror installation, which will help bring the interior spaces closer to completion.
