Project Update: Progress at the QTS Data Center, Virgina

Chesapeake Glazing continues to advance work at the QTS Data Center, a mission-critical facility designed to support expanding digital infrastructure needs. Under the leadership of Project Manager, Aaron Johnson, our team remains focused on delivering precise, high-quality glazing solutions that meet the exacting standards of data center construction.

During our most recent site visit, the team verified that all curtain wall frames were installed in accordance with contract documents. This phase is critical to the performance of the building envelope and requires consistent accuracy and technical coordination. Proper alignment at this stage supports long-term system integrity, weather resistance, and overall façade performance.

Data center environments demand a disciplined approach, and our progress reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail our team brings to every project. Close collaboration with Whiting-Turner continues to ensure alignment on scheduling, quality expectations, and site coordination.

To provide a closer look at this phase of work, we’ve included a project update video showcasing the current progress on site. Highlighting key installation milestones and offers an inside view of the precision behind this build.

As this project moves forward, Chesapeake Glazing remains committed to delivering excellence and supporting the successful completion of this high-performance facility.

While progress is always exciting, our completed work reflects the full scope of our expertise. Learn more about Chesapeake Glazing’s completed projects here
